This morning as we discussed the origins of things, we came across an interesting thought. Many of the differences between science and medicine, religion and philosophy, were denoted and defined by early monks of the European continent. We reviewed how they had had enough time to sit and ponder, also time to wander - so as to make repeat observations and notations! These "the devout", made possible to the laymen - the regular , a understanding of how the world's multitudinous ways, were all really following an exact order of being. These quiet, persistent and even, dare we say - petty - fellows, gave us much of the greater understanding we now posses. There is more to say on this topic but I must delay a little, so as to consider what other ramifications this thought is having in my brain... lol.
